The Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition at the State Hermitage Museum
The Foundation’s fundraising during 2018-2019 is designated for the realization of two historic and unique exhibitions, both celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the State of Israel. The first exhibition is the “Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at the State Hermitage Museum”.
Presented for the first time to the Russian public and to the State Hermitage Museum’s visitors, the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition will present some of the most important artifacts in Jewish history and the fascinating events regarding the discovery of the scrolls and their obtaining by the state of Israel – a story which is embroidered with our nation’s history, establishment and early days. The exhibition is planned to take place during 2021.
