The meeting took place on December 17th at the city hall of Ashdod, in the presence of Mr. Nicolas V. Iljine, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Hermitage Museum Foundation In Israel, and the advisor of the director of the State Hermitage Museum. Dr. Mikhail B. Piotrovsky, Mr. Adam Danon, Director of the Hermitage Museum Foundation In Israel and Mr. Assaf Shalev, who represented Mr. Amir Gross Kabiri, President of the Hermitage Museum Foundation In Israel.
During the meetings the parties discussed about future collaboration between Israel and Russia, and a personal invitation to visit the State Hermitage Museum on March 2020 was conveyed to Mayor Lasri and his team.
